Hola and welcome to my blog!
Today I am participating in the kre8tors blog hop for the first time. This month’s theme is Christmas.

I started making my Christmas cards well ind advance this year, however with so many great products on the catalog I always want to try something new and experiment with new ideas so am still fighting to finish all the cards I want to send to friends and family for the season.
Today I want to share with you a big Christmas Tag I did for a friend. I experimented a bit with it, using different stamp sets and dies… I like to mix and match between sets, is always so exiting!

I first worked on the background of the tag: I used „Waldmoose“ cardstock and run it through the „BigShot“ several times with the „Sweetly Stitched Dies“ which are one of my favorites on the winter catalog. To add some interest as well, I stamped randomly the background with the compass stamp from the „Weihnachtswerkstatt“ stamp set.
I added different accents for the decoration:
A stripe of „Festive Farmhouse“ designer paper, a stripe of „crumb cake“ card stock that I previously run through the BigShot with the „Corrugated embossing folder“ and distressed the borders to give it a vintage flair. Also added some „crumb cake“ shadows with the „Sponge Daubers„. I stamped the gingerbread figure from the „Cookie cutter“ stamp set with „crumb cake“ ink on „Whisper white“ card stock and cut it with the „Cookie cutter Punch„. I added a red bow with the wonderful „cotton twine„.
The perfect sentiment for a Christmas tag came from the English version of the „Weihnachtswerkstatt“ stamp set. Finally I added a some golden sparkle with the „Shimmer Paint“ and a little tree from the „All is Bright Paper Clips“ which I love and are currently discounted for the „Year’s-End Closeout„
My friend also received an „Adventskalender“ to go for which I used again the designer paper „Festive Farmhouse“ and the lovely tree from the „Sweetly Stitched Dies“ (did I already mentioned that I love them ? )
Well, that is it from me today. I hope you liked the projects I shared. Please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all the different ideas. Or make click on the „Next“ button to visit Eva’s project.
