Mirror Technique for the Colour Challenge with the kre8tors BlogHop

It’s been a while since I last joined this wonderful group of demonstrators on their monthly blog hop. Today we have a color challenge using three or more of the following colors: Gray Granite, Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler, Petal Pink an Highland Heather.
Es ist schon eine Weile her, dass ich mich dieser wunderbaren Gruppe von Demonstranten auf ihrem monatlichen Blog-Hop angeschlossen habe. Heute haben wir eine Farb-Challenge mit drei oder mehr der folgenden Farben: Granit, Espresso, Chilli, Blütenrosa und Heideblute.

After some thinking I decided to go with some party balloons to help me meet the challenge… and this is what I created: A little pick-up with a cheerful birthday message:
Nach einigem Überlegen habe ich beschlossen, mit ein paar Luftballons an den Challenge heranzugehen… und so ist mein Projekt entstanden: Einen kleinen Pick-up Truck mit einer fröhlichen Geburtstagsbotschaft:

In my project I used the „Ride with me“ bundle and four of the colors of the challenge: Gray Granite for the sweet little truck and Petal Pink, Cherry Gobbler and Heighlandheather for the balloons.
Dafür habe ich das Produktpaket „Ride with me“ benutz und vier von die vorgeschlagene Farben ausgewält: Granit für den PKW und Blütenrosa, Chilli und Heideblüte für die Luftballons:

As I wanted to have the balloons going both ways, I used the „mirror technique“ to stamp the mirrored images of the balloons. I used my Stamparatus and the silicone craft sheet to reflect the images.
Da ich die Luftballons in beide Richtungen haben wollte, habe ich die gespiegelten Abdrucke der Luftballons mit der „Spiegeltechnik“ gestempelt. Dafür habe ich den Stamparatus und die Bastelunterlage aus Silikon benutzt.

Mirror technique… how does it work? I have made an easy step by step instruction for you:
Wie funktioniert eigentlich die „Spiegeltechnick“? Ich habe eine Fotoanleitung für euch gemacht:

1- First you have to stamp your image on the silicone mat. With the Stamparatus it is easier to repeat the stamping on the same place in order to get a crisp image on the silicone mat.
Als erstes musst ihr auf der Silikonmatte stempeln. Mit der Stamparatus könnt ihr mehr mals den Abdruck in der gleiche Stelle machen, damit der Farbe sich besser an der Matte überträgt.

2. Put your piace of paper on top of the image stamped on your silicone mat and press carefully all over te image so that the ink will be transefered to the paper.
Legt ein Stück Papier auf das auf der Silikonmatte aufgedruckte Bild und drückt  vorsichtig mit der Finger darüber, damit die Tinte auf das Papier übertragen wird.

3. Pick up your piece of paper and voilà! there is your mirrored image. I used my snip scissors to cut the balloons and give it the shape I needed for my project.
Nimmt euren Stückpapier und voilà! da ist euren spiegelverkehrtes Abdruck.

I then cut out the air balloons with my snip scissors and colored them with the Stampin‘ Blends.
Ich habe danach die Luftballoons mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und mit der Stampin‘ Blends coloriert.

I think this is a cute idea to give some present in a different way… you can put some bills on the back of the truck, or as I did afteerwards, put a little gift box with your present inside.
Ich denke, das ist eine nette Idee, um ein Geschenk auf eine andere Art und Weise zu verschenken. Ihr könnt ein paar Scheine auf die Ladefläche des Lastwagens legen oder, wie ich es später getan habe, eine kleine Geschenkbox und euren Geschenk hineinstecken.
