Sketch 101 – Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop

Hola und welcome!

Heute ist wieder Zeit zu einem BlogHop rund um die Welt mit der Mädels von der „Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop“ #aWOWbloghop 🙂 Heute haben wir ein Sketch zum nachbasteln, also, nach diesen Diagram unsere eigene Kreation basteln.

Today it’s time for another blog hop around the world with the girls from the „Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop“ #aWOWbloghop 🙂 Today we have a sketch challenge to make our own creation.

Ich habe mich von der Farbe des Sketch inspirieren lassen und gleich das neue InColor „Nachtblau“ in der Hand genommen. Dann etwas mit der Stanze aus der Packung „Karten im Hochformat“ experimentiert und so ist diese Karte entstanden:

I was inspired by the color of the sketch and immediately picked up the new InColor „Starry Sky“. Then I experimented a bit with the „Slim Card dies“ and this is how this card came about:

Diese Stanzformen sind sehr schön. Ich habe leider vergessen vorher ein Klebebögen zu benutzen und müsste mit Flüssigkleber arbeiten. Es ist am Ende alles gut gegangen aber mit der Klebebögen ist man schneller fertig.

These dies are very pretty. Unfortunately, I forgot to use an adhesive sheet beforehand and had to use liquid glue. Everything went well in the end, but with the adhesive sheets you’re done faster and with less mess.

Ich habe die gestanzte Teil auf Vanile Farbkarton geklebt und dann mit der Hebelschneider zu 8cm x 10cm geschnitten. Ich habe die blaue Ränder an alle 4 Seiten abgeschnitten, damit alles symmetrisch wirken könnte.

I glued the die cut part to vanilla cardstock and then cut it to 8cm x 10cm with the guillotine. I cut off the blue edges on all 4 sides so that everything could look symmetrical.

Danach ein Aufleger in Nachtblau zurecht geschnitten und dann auf Papierreste den Spruch aus dem Set „Blüten und Zweige“ mit nachtblauer Tinte gestempelt. Mit der passende Schleife noch fertig dekoriert und fertig.

Then cut an overlay to size in Starry Sky card stock and stamp the sentiment from the „Blossoms and Twigs“ set on scrap paper with Starry Sky ink. Decorated with the matching color bow and you’re done.
