Hola and welcome,
today the Stampin‘ Dreamers are showcasing different stamping techniques to show you how fun stamping can be. I have chosen the kiss technique and created this card
This technique is very easy. I used the background stamp „Crackled Paint“ to give texture to my flower vase from the „Varied Vases“ stamp. Here you can see it in close up:
I have actually made a super quick video (30 seconds only) showing how I did this. If you want to watch the video please head over to my Facebook business page. Here is the direct link to the video
But if you don’t have Facebook or just like pictures better, you can also see here how I did this in this step-by-step photo tutorial:
First, inked the background stamp
Then, pressed the vases stamp against it to pick up the ink:
Stamped on whisper white paper:
Then inked the vases‘ stamps as usual:
Stamp over my first image:
And that is how it works.
After that just had to cut the individual vases using the punch and design the card.
I hope you like this technique as much as I do and let me some comments on which stamps you have used it with.
Now please see the list below & hop through all of the people on the list to see all our projects. You don’t want to miss any!
That’s a fabulous way to use the Crackle stamp – you’ve inspired me. I can see myself adding crackle to all sorts of things now!
Beautiful card Ximena, great technique. TFS
Love the crackle look on the vases, so clever!
Lovely card! Thanks for sharing this great technique.
This is a very clever technique. I’ve never seen it and I can think of many silhouette style stamps that this would be awesome to use with. TFS!
